Walla Walla 10x18 with cherry frame

$900.00

Long exposure of the ferry ride from Seattle to Bremerton aboard the MV Walla Walla.

10x18 inch digitally printed using archival pigments with acid free matting in a handmade cherry frame with walnut splines. Includes optium museum glass.

Foggy Waters is an expression of my own sense of peace I feel when exploring the pacific northwest. They are long exposures, often 30 minutes to an hour, in places where there is little or no cell signal. This is the meditative place where my anxiety disappears, I just enjoy the view. When you spend a significant amount of time in a place you notice small details, hear new sounds in between gusts of wind, observe insects and plants going about their existence. When you take a long exposure it masks these details in a fog for a later memory to fill in, the exact details are not important but the peacefulness is.
